Samsung Galaxy S4 - Eye-tracking smartphone landed

The long waited Samsung Galaxy S4 unveiled by Samsung yesterday on March 14 2013 at Radio City Music Hall in New York. The new smart phone, Galaxy S4, with features like photos
with sound from a 13MP rear-facing camera, language translation, group media streaming, infrared gesture control and more.

what is new with the S4?

The S4 is still impressive light, weighing in just above 130g, with new addition of a solid metallic banding around the side of the phone. It's also slimmer than Galaxy S3, the previous version the has been released back 2012, with the phone measuring 136.6x69.8x7.9mm alongside packing in full 5 inch HD Super AMOLED screen.

Hardware

One of the few major hardware features Samsung introduced was the S4's cameras. A dual-camera mode can capture images from both the 13MP rear-facing and 2MP front-facing cameras, allowing the photographer to be in the video or photograph. Therefore, users can also add audio to still photos, along with other advanced software functions.

The 5-inch, 441 pixel-per-inch Super AMOLED display on the S4 includes "Air Gesture" capabilities that allows users to interact with the screen without actually touching it.

Rounding out the new component set is a plastic body measuring 5.3 inches long by 2.7 inches wide and 7.9mm thick. The S4 runs Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out of the box on a 1.9GHz quad-core or 1.6GHz octa-core processor and comes with 16GB of storage standard, with options for 32GB or 64GB, while all models come with a MicroSD slot. Powering the device is a 2,600mAh battery.

Please see below YouTube video first look on Samsung Galaxy S4 from AndroidCentral.

Summary

Google's Nexus 10 tablet - OUT NOW!

After the longer waited news Google announces the Samsung Nexus 10 tablet running on the  latest and greatest version of Android (4.2) according to thier own website. In addition to this, Google described to its own tablet as follows:
"Nexus 10 is the newest tablet from Google. With the world’s highest resolution tablet display, all new multi-user support, immersive HD content and the best Google apps – Nexus 10 has something for everyone".

Hardware:

The Nexus 10 is Google’s answer to Apple’s latest event on 23rd October 2012, complete with stereo speakers, front and rear cameras, 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, 2GB Ram and either 16 or 32GB storage options. This impressive hardware boats behind a 2560-by-1600 pixel display, boasting the highest resolution of any tablet on the market with a pixel density of 300 pixel per inch, far greater than the iPad’s 264 ppi equivalent. Apple’s ‘Retina’ branding doesn’t seem all that impressive anymore.

However, the device is missing 3G or 4G LTE connectivity, meaning you’ll need to tether the tablet to a mobile hotspot or internet connected smartphone whenever a WiFi connection is unavailable. It’s possible Google will add 3G/4G models at some point in the future, like they have with the Nexus 7, but until then it’s WiFi only unfortunately

Price?

The price sails from £319 for 16GB Nexus, direct from Google's online store. That’s £80 cheaper than Apple’s cheapest fourth generation iPad. At £389 for the 32GB model, the price difference increases even further to £90 in the UK and if that is enough to buy one here is the link  for you to pre-order http://goo.gl/r1VNT from Google play store.

Bottom Line

It is too early for judgement if this tablet stands out among other tablets, however, when you combine the Nexus 10’s price, power, technology and multi-user support, Google really have built a tablet that goes toe-to-toe with other devices in the current market but we will be waiting to see how well the Nexus 10 fares against the others this holiday season.

New Motorola DROID RAZR family coming soon- JELLY BEAN UPGRADE

Motorola's Droid Razr M (left), Droid Razr HD (centre) and Droid
After Google has officially bought Motorola the company unveils tree top handsets - new additions to its Razr family: Droid Razr HD and Razr maxx HD and the Droid Razr M . It hard to distinguis between the look these fascinating superphones at the first galance and capable to handle more than daily use efficient but prices may vary as they as you would expect higher hardware inside these monster respectively.

Droid Razr M

The Droid Razr M is a kind of bugdet phone with lasest technology built in, thus, is a great deal for anyone looking to pick up an inexpensive LTE handset. It has a big 4.3-inch display spans edge-to-edge, yet DROID RAZR M still fits perfectly in the palm of your hand, making this one impossibly compact smartphone. Texting, emailing, reading, watching — it’s all much easier to do when you have 40 percent more screen space than the leading competitor*. And on a vibrant, high-resolution Super AMOLED Advanced display, everything looks amazing.

Droid Razr HD & Droid Razr maxx HD

The two phones share the same exact specs, however, The Razr HD has 16GB of internal memory and a 2530mAh battery, while the Razr Maxx HD comes with 32GB of memory and a enormous 3300mAh battery. But everything else is the same so that saves a lot of confusion for end users.
The two superphones running on 1.5GHz dual-core processor (Qualcomm's Snapdragon S4 possibly) and preinstalled Chrome browser, along with its LTE capacity. The Razrs comes with a Super AMOLED screen, albeit a higher-resolution one, and the same 8-megapixel rear camera. The camera also records 1080p video, and there's a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera for video chats. Not just yet, each phone comes with a microSD card slot with NFC support unlike the new iphone5. And there's even an HDMI port, which is a nice touch. Brill.
Unfortunately, the phones aren't running on Android 4.1, Jelly Bean out of the box but you can upgrade straight away depends on the network operator you with. That is not impressive and a quite disappointing as the Android 4.1 (Jelly Beans) out nearly three months as the Nexus 7 was released back July 2012. However, as Google owns Motorola! the company had promised an update before the end of the year and  you'd get the latest software first - That is kind win-win game for Moto.
We love that Motorola has adopted this and hope keep the hard work to compete his rivals in the current market.

Worth bite? Stay turned there will more indepth review coming soon for Droid Razr HD and Razr MAXX HD to give you the bigger picture including the release date and prices. Please see below the offical announcement by Motrola to give you a galance about Droid Razr smartphones.

LG Android superphone - release next week

Couple weeks ago, we heard some romours for the upcoming LG Android smartphone with specs so obscene, they’d make the Samsung Galaxy S3 redden. Now it appears LG is preparing to announcement this monster phone next week same day as the "HTC 8X" launch - HTC's first Windows Phone 8 phone.
LG has invited the press (US journalists) in the upcoming event on the morning Wed 19 September, with the possinlity of live event over the internet “without boundaries”.

The company claims to have shrunk the thickness of its display by 27 per cent, lowering the weight, improving black levels/reflectivity and general efficiency, in what it calls its G2 Touch Hybrid technologyLG has stated a resolution of 1,280 x 768, which results in a PPI of 320, confirming that the display will be 4.67in in size.

Hardware

So what is this inexplicable LG smartphone? It’s quite likely to be the LG Optimus G, a 4.7-inch Android 4.0 phone with a massive 2GB of memory for smooth multi-tasking, and Qualcomm’s next generation Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor for insane speed.
It was announced in South Korea last month, but we’ve yet to hear about a release in America or Europe but to be unveiled very soon.

THD N2-A - an ultra-affordable running ICS - MacBook Air Killer

The N2-A a KIRF MacBook Air manufactured by THD (Thread Technology Company is an ultra-affordable MacBook Air look. You might have to see this look like device, which recently displayed at Computex 2012. Well, we all know that The Android OS is current leading on most mobile devices in the market and yet the Thread Technology Company (THD) proofs that Google’s platform could land on any device.

The Android Book that is what we call, looks like a tablet with a keyboard dock; like ASUS Transformers devices, running on Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich or Windows 8 is due to launch soon, and it is hard to tell the varies between Macbook Air and this astonishing inexpensive device. Therefore, we recon there will be another huge fight between Apple and THD alongside the ongoing lawsuits between Samsung and Apple relating the pattern ownership. Nevertheless, this new ultrabook will only be available few asian countries, for the time being and yet to be confirmed when it is attainable worldwide.

Hardware
The N2-A (MacBook Air look-alike) is  powered a 1.2 Ghz Cortex A8 processor and has a 13.3" screen display (It’s not a touchscreen, as it’s only aimed to be used as a laptop) with a 1366x768 screen resolution. The default internal storage sails from 8GB Solid State Drive, but you can get 16, 32, or 64GB, however, you would expect to buy a higher price, consequently. The device has 2 USB 2.0 ports, audio jack, mini-HDMI port, full-size card reader, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, and also a 3G connection, which is handy if you aim to carry it around a lot.

Price?
You can purchase for the whole package just for $200 at retail price, however, bear in mind, there are two versions this ultrabook, an Android 4.0 version running an ARM CPU, that lasts for eight hours of battery life. And an Intel Atom variation running Windows 8 OS that comes with a dual-core atom processor but extends its price at $249, and the battery only lasts for three hours.

Therefore, we could vouch for its hardware combination, and that is utterly a bargain and good value for money comparing to Apple's Macbook Air hefty price. So see the demo video at Computex 2012, and stay tuned for more updates on this device. Please fellow us on

HTC Vertex HD - HTC Planning To Launch A New Tablet

Another day another new tablet, last week we spotted a news for you that HTC hasn't given up on tablets and are still planning to launch more tablets in the future. Although we have not heard from the company officially, but a new leak suggests that the launch a new HTC tablet might be closer than the company suggest.

The new HTC Tablet called the HTC Vertex. will come with a touch-screen running at a resolution of 1280*752 pixels display, Bluetooth 4.0, Beats Audio, a 2-megapixels rear camera and 1.3-megapixel front-facing one, and we recon the tablet will have a 7 inch tablet. Thus, powering the HTC Vertex is a quad-core Nvidia Tegra 3 processor. Nevertheless, we wouldn’t be surprised to see this tablet launch with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. HTC has not confirmed this news till now

Unfortunately, that's all the information we have about the HTC Vertex for the time being.

ASUS Google Nexus 7 Review

Are you really thinking buying the new Google Nexus 7, then you should see the quick demo by TechnoBuffalo review on Youtube. However, there are few draw backs on this device that you should bear in mind before you purchase one.
  1. Lack of a rear camera plus no cam application to launch!
  2. No SD card slot - that means you are stuck with the built in storage 8/16GB.
  3. Connectivity - WiFi only
  4. No flash support (UK version) for the time being.
Worthy buying it?
It depends on personal preferences, but we could vouch with this guy for its price just under £200 for 16GB version plus its powerful CPU a quad-core Tegra 3 processor and 1GB RAM. Therefore, if you travel a lot or want something to enjoy while on the move, then Nexus 7 would be the best option to think of in the current market.

Please share your experience with us and leave your comments below if you already own Nexus 7. Furthermore, follow us on Facebook in real time by just clicking the "LIKE" button below, and Stay tuned for further information and other tech selection.

Microsoft gives Office a 2013 unveiled

Immediately after the Windows 8 release, it's no surprise that Microsoft is revealing its next Office suite. However, what may surprise us is that Office 2013 is not really designed for Windows 8. It's a suite with many remarkable enhancements, but it is not finger friendly though.
Office 2013, as expected, is built to work on multiple types of devices, and as a result, the software has been crafted to work via touch, a stylus, mouse or keyboard.

Price?
Microsoft will be selling them in the usual bundles for home, school and business use, but will also, for the first time, extend the Office 365 subscription to consumers. That means that, for a fixed monthly or annual fee, you will be able to access the latest Microsoft Office software on the Web, and download it on any device, including Macs and PCs, and whatever mobile devices where an Office software suite is currently available.

Please see the preview demo video from CNET below here to experience how it works on programs running on computers, a phone and a tablet.

Google Nexus 7

Nexus 7
Google, the world giant web search has unveiled one the most powerful tablet we have ever encountered. Hence, we can vouch for its worth every penny for it is a combination of quad-core Tegra 3 processor with 1GB RAM and either 8GB or 16GB of internal storage.
However, like other Nexus-branded devices, the Nexus 7 tablet isn't actually hardware manufactured by Google.

Nevertheless, It's a challenge move: Among Android tablets, the company makes some of the best around, but matching the rock-bottom $199 (£130) price of Amazon's Kindle Fire whilst surpassing its scarce specs would be a challenge for any manufacturer.

Hardware:
CPU: quad-core Tegra 3 processor
RAM: 1GB (1024MB)
Display: seven-inch 1200 x 800 HD backlit IPS.
STORAGE: 8/16GB internal storage only
WEIGHT: 340 grams
CAMERA: 1.2MP front-facing camera
PORTS: micro-USB port and 3.5mm headphone jack

Bottom Line:
Pros                                                                       Cons
>Quad core processor                                       >
No camera
>Very fast processor (1300 MHz)                       >
The camera lacks flash
>Lots of RAM (1024 MB RAM)                           >
Lacks microSD slot for storage expansion
>NFC
